Are these motorcycle tires good? Dunlop 491?
If memory serves me correctly, the 491 was the orginal Touring Elite while the 591 was the Sport Elite. The sport elite was the soft, good gripping faster wearing tire. The touring elite was the long wearing tire with a high load rating. I went through several of them and I could get half again as many miles from them as from the stock OEM tires.
Dunlop makes awesome tires - they are softer, which makes for a great ride because they grip so well, but they also wear out a little faster. Definitely worth the money.
