If you use them same harddrive you will already have it but if you dnt thn just recover your account and go to your harddrive and click downloads then redownload
A data transfer cable is what you need, I used it on my old hard drive from the old school xbox to the new slim xbox. Depending on how many GB/MB you have on your hard drive already will determine how long it will take to transfer all the data. My old hard drive was a 20 transferring to a 250 gb only took about 7 minutes. Now if you have a 4 gb xbox I suggest you take the extra 100$ get a 250 cause you can't even play COD or any other game online with it. The 4gb is mainly for those who just play regular games but if you play online your gonna need a 250gb. Anything saved on the hard drive (games, gaming profiles, downloads ect ect) will be transferred to the new hard drive. You can transfer anything that's on a old hard drive to the new xbox slims. The transfer cable is only about 20 bucks but it's well worth it so you don't lose anything.
