I raise Green Iguana's and they will not tolerate the cold tile very well.
That would probably be perfect for him. Im seeing more and more people using tiles for their reptile cages. I think it is a better alternative than paper towels. And there is no chance of impaction Since you wont be having a moisture retaining substrate in the cage however, remember to watch the humidity levels!
