The light weight of the foil will be a problem exposed to a direct flame, so laminate to the copper, the copper will disperses the heat quickly and has an insulating property as a layer. Next, the conducted heat most be removed from the device, take advantage of the convection of heat. Use the screen to provide an air space. The air is a good insulator and will let the heat out of the device.Finally, a reflective layer will be needed again for when the flame burns through the outer skin. This would be the last layer of foil to reflect the heat back to the original.An improvement would be two layers of screen separated by as foil clad copper piece. If the air space was force fed air from a fan it would stand up even longer. Have fun. Oh, use the heaviest piece of aluminum out ward to deflect the direct flame. Use really good glue! Actually, drill and nail the pieces to the board, the glue will be the failure point.
