Question:

Fixing Laminate Flooring?

I have laminate "wood" flooring, there is a small, very small corner that has come up. I dont think it has gotten wet, I think that as the house settled (new house) it seperated a tinny bit. The area is about 1/4 inch, if that. Can I take some super glue and a heavy weight to secure it down for the time being?

Answer:

if it:s in the corner like you said it is ,take off the baseboard and reinstall forcing it down to take the laminate down with it.
most laminate floors are floating floors, you do not give enough detail as to location of floor, type of sub floor or above or below grade installation. If you feel house has settled there would most likely be other indications, such as sticking doors, cracks in the walls, etc.
