Question:

HID headlight questions?

I have an 2001 Dodge Dakota and just last month I replace the yellow headlight lamps with new ones and I want to get a set of HIDs in my truck. I don‘t want no cheap *** knockoffs like nokya 7000k! I mean how hard is it to install HIDs. Plus does anyone know where I can get a good set of HIDs Ps: I live in Pennsylvania

Answer:

lol i go on OKorder and got the decent Xantec HID kit, 5000K is good enough, its white and doesnt sacrifice vision Once you pass by 5000k, the brightness is actually lower, Also cops will get edgy with anything past 5900K the Compact Xantec kit is this simple: Remove old bulbs Put new bulbs in doubside stick tape the ballists somewhere near the bulbs so cables reach Connect the HID Bulb into the ballist Connect the Ballist to original bulb wire zip tie excess wire Test lights DO NOT STARE DIRECTLY INTO LIGHT. The kit is 35-40$ Also, when my ballist blew, they sent me a replacement free, same went when a bulb went out
unquestionably, there is likewise some halogen bulbs on the industry that have slightly xenon further to the gas combination, so producers are waiting to destroy out with legally calling them xenon lights fixtures.
To quote Ghostbusters, It would be Bad.
Generic answer: The Devil is in the details. Each auto's and its lighting system's characteristics make a difference. Do a LOT of research and reading on the net and at DIY stores before buying and installing. As much as possible, know exactly what you are going to do to make the lights come on.
