How much does it cost to have a few truckloads of dirt removed from your property?

Answer:

Depends on where you are.
Your best bet is to put a sign in your yard next to the pile of dirt that says Free Fill, also post an add on Kijiji or whatever your local online classified source is. Put an ad in the paper, whatever. Someone will gladly come remove it for you free of charge. If you want it gone asap, call your local services to do this for you at an expense you will have to agree to before its removal. They will either charge by weight, cubic feet, hourly, or flat rate.
I need a few truckloads of dirt added to my property where I took out my pool. Want to work something out?
You expect a bunch of strangers from all over the world to know this answer, when you have a PHONE book and internet right next to you. Ever hear of calling a local company and asking them? If I told you $10.00 how would that help you? Would you call a trucking company and say well I am only going to pay you $10.00 because some guy on Yahoo said that is what it is going to cost? I assure you that your dirt would still be there after he laughed very loudly for 10 minutes and then drove away. If I told you $10,000 would you call a company and say I was told by a 13 year old on Yahoo that it should cost me $10,000 to move this dirt, you want the job? I guarantee you he would be at your place within the hour with a HUGE smile on his face. NOBODY here can answer this question, only the contractor that you call about it can.
It depends. Look in the phone book and call around for excavators or landscapers...then ask them to give you a bid.
