Question:

Laptop charger or battery?

Hi, when I plug the charger into the laptop it doesn't always say it's plugged in and I have to move it around to get it to say it's plugged in and charging. But when it is plugged in it does charge and when I take it out the battery will be charged normally. Is it a faulty battery, charger or the jack where the charger goes.

Answer:

i think its the fault battery
Probably jack.
Try remove both the battery and charger from your laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the laptop. 1. Ensure that the power cord and/or AC adapter are plugged into the computer and the connection is solid and secured. 2. Verify that the power cord is plugged into AC adapter completely. 3. Make sure your laptop power jack and charger plug tip are not loose fitting. Fixing and soldering the power jack might requires some professional skills. 4. Attempt to use a different electrical outlet. 5. Test out with a different laptop. Always, the LED light of charger needs to be constantly on. If not, replace the defective charger. Since battery/ AC adapter has its own lifespan and does not last forever, you can consider getting a charger under lifetime warranty from store like Topmic Good luck!
It could be the hack or the charger, but definitely not the battery itself, there's nothing wrong with it. Check if the charger cable is straight and not curved so it can fit in the laptop jack perfectly.
I would recommend you to buy a new charger. I had this experience before with my charger. I think that the charger wire is broken. So buy a new one!
