Question:

My leopard gecko has been piling up its sand by its water dish thing. I am not sure what gender it is?

please help, if it is a she and it is pregnant I need to know ahead of time!

Answer:

Don't worry, its fairly common. my leopard gecko doesn't even use his rock-hide anymore and just digs below the sand under it, I guess he likes the moisture from the towel we keep in their mixed with the heating pad.
They like to dig around, make sure it has hides, if it dosnt, that would explain it. Id reccomend getting a pencil box, cutting a hole in the top, put in perlite, and adding water to work as a moist hide, mine love that, and if she does, she could lay eggs in it.
probably the long arm that hooks on the wiper motor popped off.
it has developed too much play somewhere . move it back and forth by hand you'll see it.
