If brakes were replaced about 4 mos ago i.e. front rotars and pads and the brakes were workign just fine. air in the brakeing system all of a sudden (4 mos later) is ruled out right??? what I am asking is that if a braking system was working fine before, w/o ne kinks or holes in the brake line. this rules out air getting into the brakeing system right?
right! the only ways that air can get into the lines is if you change anything like a line, hose , wheel cylinder, master cylinder or if the master cylinder goes dry. if you got all the air out then as long as there,s no leaks then air can,t get into it.
what could it be is brakes wore out low fluid or air so first check fluid and then brake pads and while at it look for any wet spots an dif you are getting air in lines either master gone bad or you have a hole in a line which wil be wet bad master signs woul dbe low pedal or when you hold brake it goes down sometimes it wil leak fluid but if you have brake pads and see no leaks then that would be next step the master
man, any air bubbles inside the brake system can create major problems, i dont know how to say it in english, but take ur car to a mechanic and have him clear the brake system out of the air and btw, and cut in the brake pipes and lines is also something bad, coz the oil will be leaking all over when u press the brakes and few oil will reach the brakes!
