Can anyone tell me the difference between skinwall tires and gumwall tires? Which are better and why?
By the time you count shipping and the fact your going to pay more for mount and balance your better off to go to a local shop.
Gum wall are the brown side walled tires. I'm not sure what skin walled are.
Gumwall: The tread compound is the same all over the tyre and the sidewall Skinwall: Only the top surface of the tyre is made from tread compound. These tyres are lighter and more expensive than gumwall
