does it matter if it is two door or four door?does manual or automatic transmission matter?.i drive a 2001 honda civic Lx auto 4 dri just want my car to breathe easier.so im pricing online systems but i‘d hate to buy something that doesnt fit.the sites say their stuff will fit my car but when installing my intake my auto tranny made it nearly impossible to fit a cold air intake so i had to settle with a short ram all because they never specified auto trans or manual trans ($$ holes).
The exhaust system for the 2dr and the 4dr are the same. It does not matter whether it is an automatic or manual. As for the intake, most intakes are universal made for Honda's and also a lot of the Honda owners out there with aftermarket intakes are home built. They just add or cut tubing to make it fit. If you buy something specified for your car and it doesn't fit and it isn't a universal item then they sent you the wrong part or you ordered the wrong part.
