Yesterday I got a travel mug from Starbucks that's a french press. Its my first time ever even seeing a french press so I'm a little confused I guess. I made a cup today and it turned out just OK, But I like cream and sugar in my coffee and I'm not sure the best way to make this yet. can anyone give me any tips...
So far I use it like an actual press and not a mug. Thus, I make the coffee and pour it on another cup when it's done. So far so good. Some people have complained about a plastic taste to their coffee if you leave the coffee in there too long (since the press has plastic parts). I've had no problems so far.
