Question:

Tahoe - Truckee, CA. RWD car reliability in snow?

Hi, I'm moving to Truckee in a few weeks and have 2 cars: A Lexus GS430 (RWD) and a Toyota Pickup (4WD).I plan on buying 4 excellent snow tires for the RWD but want to know whether or not it will be reasonable to consider driving the car around during snow season. Is this a bad idea? Should I purchase studded tires instead of snow tires/chains?I'm guessing I'll be OK considering how diligent they are about clearing the roads up therebut I want to be 100% sure.

Answer:

Polyester resin gets pretty brittle as it cures. You can mix it with shredded fiberglass to strengthen it.
there are different drill bit kits that fit into electric drills that you can use to sharpen the lawnmower blades im sure.
sounds like a lack of enforcement. Start towing those suckers and it will stop. I deal with this all the time at my business. I give ONE warning, next time they park there, the car is impounded. END of problem.
They don't think about what would happen if a firetruck needed to get in and around to put out a fire or give somebody medical aid.My uncle is a firemen, and told me that if a car is parked in a fire zone that they would brake both widows and run the hose threw the car.
