Question:

Wanna hear a joke?

What's on the back of a Tijuana fire-truck? Hose A and Hose B

Answer:

Single-family residential fire safety is generally left to the occupants, whereas commercial or business or apartments have a greater risk to multiple occupants are are more heavily regulated. Your local fire code or similar regulations may suggest specific provisions for residential dwellings, such as CO and smoke/fire alarms, and some states require these. On the other end of the spectrum, some locales are now requiring certified SPRINKLER systems in every new house, or if an old house is renovated or added to.
Its a 95 save the money and go to a junkyard. 20 bucks at the most bring a pair of pliers, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm wrench, and pair of wire cutters and you should be able to pull off the whole assy in less than 10 mins. Good luck
Deadbolt means that the bolt- the part of the lock that extends into the door frame- can not be manually pushed back into the door. Give it a try. Open the door, extend the bolt with the key or thumb turn, then try pushing in on the bolt. It will not move. A spring latch, as on most knob sets, can be pushed in, whether the device is locked or not. This makes it possible to close a locked door. Unfortunately, it also makes carding a door possible, as well. As you can see, a deadbolt CAN'T be carded, because it does not respond to pushing. It's dead- it has no motion.
