I've heard that these types of windows are meant to become like this I am sorry to say, it is part of the partina this is how they get their look there is nothing you can do to correct this problem as they are continually exposed to the weather, once you clean it it will continue to become tarnished this is why the brasso does not work as the copper is tarnishing which it is suppose to become, you clean it the next day it will start to tarnish again making it a daily cleaning chore Good Luck !
when i was in the navy we found that using coo laid did the best job on all the brass use the kind that dont have sugar it i know that it might sound foulish but it will work
