Lead Additive For Unleaded Gas
anything with ceramic brakes stops on a dime but for production cars I would say the Porsche or Mercedes as for numbers, I don't have them for ya, sorry
lot of run high test gas . older motor had higher compression then newer cares . lead was use for vale stem lubercant . and had no vale seals . thes wer tougf old motors . and don,t have use lead all the time just add once a moth or every other tank full . and if want to spend the money can pull heads to make them unleded heads also
Very definitely yes. Especially if the car hasn't been running much. Usually with these old cars a good lead additive and you're fine. But some ate so bad that you need to replace the fuel tank if you want that ruining again. To summarize: if the gas is old and the car hasn't been on in, say, six or more months, you need a fuel tank replacement not lead. If the car runs often and you've had it for a while, then lead would help out allot.
