Will I get data from AT&T, If I'm not signed up for a Data Plan.?

I got an iPhone, Unlocked it, so it works with a SIM not registered for iPhone. I disabled Edge and 3g, so that no data gets through. I was wondering, is it possible for data to get through, even though I hadn't signed up for a Data Plan.
