all food is cooked at a lower heat and should not burn-get some strong tasting root veg like turnip,celery,carrot,potato and onion and add stock start the cooker in the morning with diced veg ,stock and water and this should be a delicious soup by the time you get home,any meat is a bonus unless you a veggie
It's similar to a steamer-you just chuck a bunch of stuff in and it will cook and soften in. And trust me, it will not make your smoke detector go off, especially since it's covered with a lid. They're great, get one!
