Question:

car accident due to brake failure?

Hi , Last week my friends uncle died due to brake failure .He was driving second hand opel corsa at a speed of 120 km in Indian National Highway .Suddenly a huge truck crossed the road at very low distance .Though his uncle applied both the brakes but unfortunately the tyres cant stop and the car hit on the back wheels of the truck . And one more incident scorpio tyres burst and it hit on the truck and everyone died at the spot. Could anyone tell that why brake failures and tyre burst happens often and cause death .Which car could save life even after accident in indian highways.Scorpio , Safari, Ford endeavour , Innova, Mitsubishi pajero , Mitsubishi Montero,Toyota Prado, BMW or Benze ?

Answer:

I work with a dry cleaning guy and he uses L.A.s Awesome on everything safely. It's available at dollar stores and just about everywhere.
if the tires burst than your uncle must have applied the brakes.or spun the car, it will be easy to check the brakes on a wrecked vehicle, just push on the brake pedal and see if it is firm. if not see if a brake line got cut at the time of loss. i would be surprised with a total brake failure. luck
First off I am sorry for your loss but brake failure 99 percent of the time is due to lack of maintenance on the owners part. Tire failure is caused by the same but also if the vehicle is over-loaded. The BMW if the above are checked out. Lastly the India Department of Road Transport and Highway, reports that there are about 406,730 accidents each year with 86,000 people killed and remember India has the world's second largest population in the world with 1,169,016,000 people!!!!!!!!
