Hi. I'm writing an analysis for this lab. We did a lab on the chemical reaction between copper and sulfur in a closed test tube (covered with a rubber sheet). We used a alchol burner to heat the test tube and observed the chemical reaction that took place. Before the lab, we measured the mass of the test tube and its contents and after the chemical reaction, we measured the mass again to see if the mass changed.I'm having a hard time figuring out what one experimental error could be. Thanks for your help!
He is not forcing you to not wear gloves by not providing them (unless he has TOLD you to not wear gloves. You are perfectly free to purchase your own gloves and wear them.
Be glad that they exist.. they warn of fire.. that way everybody in a building has time to evacuate.. if it wasn't for fire alarms.. people would be taken unawares and they have to have fire drills ever so often.. to teach people how to behave in the event there should be a fire.. because we all know what happens when all panic breaks lose.. don'[t want that to happen in a real crisis.. so bear that in mind that a fire alarm is there to save your life to make you aware to get out.. and to tell others you see to get out of the building xxx
Transferring trash from one dumpster to another is not illegal but he is required to provide the necessary equipment. Purchase your own gloves and present the receipt to him for payment. If he refuses to reimburse you, calmly tell him you'll have to forward this to OSHA, the local Board of Health, and the NLRB. Do not yell, scream, or curse. Give him the chance to reimburse you and then go back to your job. Contact government agencies only AFTER you've given him the chance to pay for your gloves.
