Question:

Flat bench press/incline press soreness?

Whenever I do flat bench presses or incline bench presses, my arms are what get sore. Isn't my chest supposed to feel the burn? Am I doing something wrong?

Answer:

Try a wider grip. The closer together your hands are the more you work your triceps. If you're really concerned about your pecs not doing enough work do some flies to isolate your chest muscles. You can do them on the machine, with dumbbells or cable.
Well try getting a wide grip...or i don't know what your doing but maybe you are lifting your back or butt....try to keep your whole body, i hope this helps man good luck.
Presses are compound exercises, which mean they incorporate numerous muscles, including the triceps, shoulders and chest. The lats, traps and core also help support the motion. So depending upon which muscle is the weak link, you'll feel the lift in different places. However it's always good to review technique. Check out the video I have listed in sources, it's pretty informal, but solid information.
