Answer:

1) No alcohol 2) Less refined starch, concentrated sweets or products with added sugar and high-fat foodsMore whole grains, fruits (NOT fruit juice), and non-starchy vegetables3) Lose weight if you are overweight The diet to lower triglycerides isn't anything newIt is a standard, healthful diet.
Triglyceride levels are also reduced by exercise and by consuming omega-3 fatty acids from fish, flax seed oil, and other sources.
To lose weight, you have to reduce your caloric intakePeriodGoing hungry is not the same as starving yourselfYou need to figure out how many calories you should be eating in a day for your activity levelFor women, I think the minimum is 1200 calories per dayIf you exercise at all, you will be able to eat more, and shouldNot to offend, but if you are overweight it is probably because you are exceeding your daily calorie requirements, i.eovereatingSwitching to eating the proper amount will not starve your body, although you might feel hungryThis is TEMPORARYYour stomach is transitioningWhen you overeat regularly, it stretches out your stomach, making it need more to feel fullOnce you stop overeating, your stomach should return to a smaller size and those hunger pangs will go awayIt's just something you have to work throughThe best thing you can do to not feel hungry is to eat the right foodsProteins, for example, are very filling because they are digested slowlyCarbs will fill you up for the moment, but a couple of hours later you will feel hungry and want to eat again, which makes you more likely to go over your calorie limitI'm sorry - there is no easy answer to your questionI hope this helps, though, and good luck with your weight loss.
