the 02 has disc brakes and the 2000 has drum brakes will they hook up and if not can the disc be swaped with the drum?
The axle housings should swap with no problem, you will probably have to change the master cylinder, proportioning valve and possibly the anti-lock control unit. I'm not familiar with anti-lock systems but there is a difference between the master cylinder and proportioning valve between rear disc and rear drum brakes or used to be. The anti-lock control unit determines if one axle or the other is about to lock using input from speed sensors on the axles and adjusts hydraulic pressure to the brakes accordingly.
