i have downloaded the nokia pc suit but this is not detecting the nokia 6030
you need to install the drivers for that. you might have recieved the CD with the phone. or else you can download it from nokia's website. or search on google.
have you ever put in Nokia laptop Suite? with a view to connect your telephone for your laptop, you want certain drivers also to be put in. pass to authentic nokia website and procure the right Nokia laptop Suite for your form.
even i encounter the same oroblem. no the problem is not with the phone, its with the computers usb drives. if your computer is an assembled one, then there are chances that the usb drives are not installed properly. do 1 thing, go to a cyber cafe or a friends place who has a computer and try accesing it there. windows xp detects the usb immediately. so wither you do the above, or call your vendor and ask him to install the usb drives.
There are two software that are required to connect to nokia 6030 one is driver for USB data cable second is software to connect I purchase a datacable for my nokia 6030 and I got a mini CD with USB data cable driver. Then I installed many programs for connecting my Phone with PC and finally I was able connect using latest of Pro suite from logomanager .uk/php/product I was not able to connect even with nokia suite. This program is shareware and occationally gave me blue screen of death(BSOD) causing the computer to restart but I only wanted to install few application my phone and I succeeded in it. I contacted logomanager support and they told BSOD was because of improper data cable driver and not the fault of their software.
