my alarm is really weird, i set it to 7, i make sure it's on, and it doesn't ring, until later. it really pisses me off, cuz' sometimes it's an hour or 2 later. please help.

It contains carbon tetrachloride. This is a volatile liquid, whose fumes are heavy. when thrown at the base of a fire, the fumes try to smother it. Not a very good extinguisher, and both the liquid and fumes are harmful. It is a wonderful antique, though
