I've been improving in other areas of weight lifting, but cannot seem to improve on my bench press.What exercise can I do to be able to lift more?
Dumbells Dumbells Dumbells, lift using dunbells ONLY you'll see a huge difference. Dumbells isolate the muscle. Flat, incline and decline dumbell bench. Bench press with straight bar does not isolate and there's tricks you can use to get the weight up like bouncing the bar etc. If you do chest heavy on Mondays do a cutting routine on Friday or Saturday, cutting will sculpt your pecs. Like cable crossovers Fly mach. do 1/2 the weight double the reps. I had no pecs, now I have a chest plate! so I know this works great! Good Luck
Do bench press at the start of your workout when you are fresh.
Well bench press is mostly tri's and shoulders and some chestso your going to want to work on these tgree muscle groups if you want to improve it so military press, flys, incline press, declime press, tricept extension, hammer tricept extension, kick backs and shrugs are some isolation exercises you can do to help it. Or just simply add bench press as part of your routine and work at it consume lots of protien and eat your fruits and vegetables and dense calorie foods. Good luck hope this helps!
