Question:

What are some good slogans for lab safety? ?

I have to make a poster about lab safety; about all the rules you have about a lap. Ex. wear goggles, don't smell things, ect. Anyways, I have to put a slogan on it for one of the rules, but I'm not a very creative person. ANY SUGESTIONS?

Answer:

Neither of those scenarios. A fire hose emits a huge rush of water that puts out fires and saves lives. It doesn't CHOOSE to be a vital part of firefighting but it is. You and I play a vital role in our worlds by being what is inside us. Those choices and actions (for they are choices as we don't know the outcome) matter tremendously even though we are a part of the chain of cause and effect. Guy A: well my choices don't make much difference so I will party and neglect my kids and raise a serial killer among them. Gal B: I must be the best I can in all things and I will strive to find a cure for cancer! Gal C: My instinct is to lay around and neglect my responsibilities, but I am going to fight that and try and have a good life. [Yahoo limits me to 1000 characters so this discussion continues below]
In the vanity of your imagination, as a 'belief infection', 'free-will/choice' exists! Only in the vain imagination! It is the ultimate manifestation of Pride! To have 'free-will' is to have the ability to 'do otherwise'. In the complete history of the Universe, no being has ever 'done otherwise', no moment has ever been 'otherwise'!
What do you feel like? People usually choose what happens in their life and aren't usually flung haplessly through life, so of course free will exist.

here are the actual facts: In heat means the female is in her fertile stage of the reproductive cycle. They go into heat or estrus about every 6 months. It is during this time that they are ovulating and can become pregnant. The vulva enlarges and a bloody discharge leaks out. The heat periods start at 7 to 10 months of age. and continue throughout the dog's reproductive life. Each estrus cycle lasts about 2 to 9 weeks (average of 3 to 4 weeks). Each estrus cycle or Heat period they go through increases their chances of breast cancer and uterine diseases such as pyometra where the uterus fills with pus and the dog will die without an emergency hysterectomy. I agree get her spayed as soon as her heat cycle ends. Spaying will eliminate those messy heat cycles and prevent pregnancy. A little known but interesting fact is that if you have a female dog spayed before her first heat period, she will never get breast cancer either.
