Question:

Can you install rolls of insulation under the house and attach it to the floors somehow?

we just had outside temperatures of around 50 degress, but the floors of my house are ice coldI looked under my house before and there is a little room to work withIs it possible to install insulation up under the house to help keep out the cold weatherI can only imagine what it will be like in the dead of winter.

Answer:

entirely possible! fill all of the spaces between floor joists with insulation, they make special wire holders to keep it in place, second, cover insulation with a plastic sheating as to keep moisture off from insulation so it does not absorb it and fall down from weightif you don't have very much room to work in it may be aggravating but well worth the effort, lastly make sure all holes around foundation are blocked to keep out drafts
YES In the Bush administration the negation of truth is so systematicDishonest accounting, willful scientific illiteracy, bowdlerized federal fact sheets, payola paid to putative journalists, 'news' networks run by right-wing apparatchiks, think tanks devoted to propaganda rather than thought, the purging of intelligence gatherers and experts throughout the bureaucracy whose findings might refute the party line - this is the machinery of mendacity. The point here is not the hypocrisy involved, though that is egregiousThe point is the downgrading of truth and honesty from principles with universal meaning to partisan weapons to be sheathed or drawn as necessaryNo wonder the Bush administration feels no compunction to honor the truth or seek it; it conceives truth as a tactic, valuable only insofar as it is useful against one's enemies If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe itThe lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lieIt thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State- Joseph Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, 1933-1945
17 U.NResolutionsCongress had the same intelligence even when Clinton was PresidentIt was Clinton that initiated the policy to remove Saddam from power.
I need no further evidence to conclude that Bush has been a liar from the beginning, like the devilHe did not invade Iraq for WMD's, that he knew didn't existHe did it for personal vanity, and unlimited photo-ops This man's vanity chokes the angels, and causes the heavens to cryHe has been to that great city of New Orleans 15 times since Katrina, each time bringing only an empty checkbook and false promisesBut at least he gets his image made in the media each timeThat great city looks the same as it did the day after Katrina in many placesThis president cares for no other than his Base, which are the millionaires and the industrialists.
