Question:

Does God still preform miracles?

If so has he preformed one for you?And how did you get the miracle?Did you or someone pray for you?And what is this talk about God's timing/will is all about?

Answer:

No one can confirm this unless it is something obviously super natural (e.g. Column of fire). Recovering from an illness doesn't count becuase it isn't a miraculous happening like a virgin birth, it's still something plausible. And even if that was an act of god you wouldn't know if it was most likely a fortuitous happening, crediting god for it would be just as premature as crediting god for contracting a disease in the first place. Only if you can witness god actually doing it with some form of substantiated evidence because a miracle that isn't even so miraculous doesn't mean that aliens with superior healing technology couldn't have done it.
He still uses his Holy Spirit with people today. For example he gave those who were in concentration camps the strength to endure. One time when a friend was out in the ministry they were discussing something with the householder and they said I just prayed that God would help me to understand the Bible better and you came to my door right when I needed help. He truly answered my prayer God doesn't necessarily perform miracles like he used to but he does lead us with his Holy Spirit when things get tough or when we need some type of encouragement. We may be out in the ministry work and we're tired so we just want to go home and rest but then we decide to go to just one more house and it turns out that we find someone with interest, so Jehovah's Holy Spirit was working in our favor that day it helped us to do just one more house and find someone that would listen.
Yes. In November of 2006 I was healed of a broken arm the day after I broke it. Honestly, I think that this talk about God's timing and God's will to heal is just a cover up for people's lack of faith. I believe that is is always God's will to heal, but if he is not healing, then it is something that we are doing wrong, not Him. If no one prays for you, you pray. Find somebody to pray with you, and you wil have somebody praying for you.
God is always performing miracles.I prayed for a relative of mine whose not doing well but in less than 11 days of physical therapy he is able to walk more steady than when he started at 20ft.
yes he does, there was this on time when I was in big trouble and I kept asking him to help me get through it, but nothing came, and right when I was about to do something really bad I was like “okay…if you really do exist, I want you to give me a sign, it doesn’t have to be a big sign, just as long as I know its you” and not even 10 second later, my gran walks in and she’s like “you know that lady next door? Well she absolutely loves you piano playing! And she said you play beautifully, so isn’t that something? You got a fan!” because I love playing piano, and I always wanted someone to like it, and compliment it, and just before I almost did something bad, God came and saved me, I thought it would just be a co-winc-ci-dence (I don’t know how to spell it HAHAHAH) ne ways, he saved my life im 14 btw, lol im very grateful that he saved me
