I was going to go out and get the Alpine Full Speed connection cable so I can listen to my ipod with my head unit and control all the functions, but I want to know if I can install the cable myself or if I need to pay someone to do it for me.
Very simple to hook up, you have to pull the head unit from the dash, the cable plugs right into the rear of the head unit. Once connection is made, you can put the head unit in ipod mode. All controls will be done from the head unit, controls on the ipod will be inop.
Very easy install, just do it yourself.
