Answer:

Rub the baking tray with a little oil, put the peeled or non peeled garlic on the tray cook until golden, the skin tends to be really tough though so id keep the skin on that will act as aluminium foil, once its done just squeeze the garlic all the sweet delicious garlic comes out leave the shell :)
You can still roast it in a small pan in the oven on 350 and watch that they don't burn, they will eventually get soft and you can take it out and squeeze the paste in the potatoesDon't forget to cut the top of the garlic bulb so it will be easy for the garlic to squeeze outor if you have parchment paper or brown paper bag will work just like aluminum foil.
