i have a 2003 dodge durango slt + 4.7 l .
Don't confuse COLD air with SHORT air intake. COLD air intake are stuff into the area inside the walls near the bottom of the car. They can take a gulp of water if you drive through a deep puddle. Theoretically COLD is better. But in practice they are not really for street use. As for the BEST, they are actually all about the same. If one is better it is for the fit and finish (nor performance). The reason is that the factory airbox system is so very restrictive any straight / bent pipe system will improve on in. The factory needs to do so for the noise restrictions. I have a 94 civic with cheapy intake pipes. I also have cheapy exhaust header pipes. I should have spent little on the exhaust. But either way the setup really makes the car breath better. Good Luck.
if it's not teflon, you can get scouring soap pads i.e. S.O.S., Brillo soap pads. Spray some Oven Cleaner on the pans. /jabril
Try oven cleaner. Also to prevent them from getting this way stay away from cooking sprays and oils with low flash points, they burn on to the sheet and cause discoloring. Stick with oils you rub on that don't burn as easily like grapeseed oils.
u will probably have to get a short ram cars usually have cold air intakes but either one get a k and n one of course they have been around for years yeah boi!!!!!
