Question:

How can I configure a four link suspension system for a truck?

This is for a Chevy truck, late 70‘s.

Answer:

maybe the catalytic converter is getting plugged up? you can wash/rince a cool engine.don not wash/rince when it is still hot. let is cool for a few hours.and DO NOT SOAK Maybe you have a dead animal stuck under the car somewhere and the smell gets bad as the engine/exhaust heats up!?? take a look see
You can spray water under the hood but nothing directly into the engine. Just be careful not to get certain things too wet like the air filter or computer components.
Lay a piece of cheeze on the muffler. Oh, God, it stinks and it will not go away. Put some garlic in with it and everyone will get sick when you pass by. Add some celery and you'll have people crying. A stick of butter lost under the car seat won't take long to melt and putrify, filling the car with a horrible stench. You'll have to pull out the carpet and burn it.
Are you going to tub it? There are pre-welded rear subframes all set-up for that - Check Summit Racing dot com, or Jeg's.
