Used power steering fluid instead of proper brake fluid
that is a problem. the petroleum in the power sterring fluid will make the seals in the master well up and stick and the seals in the wheel cylinders or calipers do the same or leak. you need to flush the entire system and then keep your fingers crossed.
Oh snap you're going to have to reformat your entire engine. :( But seriously, a flush is about the only thing you can do as far as i know. I've heard of this happening in the past and it was usually AFTER the brakes failed that people realized that made that oopsy. So you can probably safely drive it to a mechanic, but i wouldn't take any chances by trying something like adding more brake fluid and just letting it 'run it's course'. Lol.
This is a good time to take it in for a brake system flush which you need eventually anyways to extend the life of the braking system hydraulic components. Make sure that the technician doesn't just bleed the brakes and that all the brake fluid is flushed and new installed.
